1. Who we are

The Stockvel App is a savings platform operated by a subsidiary of Equallyoked. [Regulatory status — to be confirmed after legal advice]

2. Savings, not investment

The Stockvel App is a savings platform. We do not promise growth or returns. What you save is what you get back.

3. The pilot

During the pilot, all payments in the app are DEMO payments. No real money moves. Nothing in the app is a real bank balance.

4. Your Stockvel's rules

Each Stockvel has its own rules (its constitution), which every member accepts before joining. We record when you accepted which version.

5. Your account

• Keep your PIN secret. We will never ask you for it.
• One person, one account. One South African ID number may hold only one account.
• Be kind in chats. Threats, hate speech and scams are not allowed and can lead to removal from the platform.
